The original directors of Doki Doki Takeover, SirDusterBuster and Jorge_SunSpirit, brought FNF My Streets to life. Especially DusterBuster expressed that he wanted to create a fighting-game-inspired mod and saw this opportunity as perfect when merged with Doki Doki Takeover.
